Is there anything better than having a favourite pair of jeans? Whether you like them soft, worn-in and fraying or prefer more of a raw dark-wash denim, having a go to pair of jeans is one of life's greatest sartorial pleasures. When they fit just right it feels like a hug.
You can tell a lot about a person by their jeans. Baggy, skinny, acid-wash, distressed to hell, the various iterations of this classic clothing item are countless. Here at Black Market, we obviously have a soft spot for vintage blues.
Our holy trinity of vintage denim are Levi's, Lee, and Wrangler. We can't get enough. They are three of the original heritage brands that outfitted the OG cowboys. The outlaws, bandits, bounty hunters and ranchero's of the Wild West.
Here are just some of the incredibly special vintage Levi's, Lee, and Wrangler denim pieces we have for sale in our online shop:
1950's Lee jeans with crotch rivet. This rivet was eventually discarded by the denim manufacturers of the time because the metal had a tendency to get piping hot when sitting around the fire... Not ideal near one's private area.
Lee 4-pocket chore coat circa 1930s. A true vintage treasure!
Levi Strauss & Co. "Big E" Orange Tab with Talon zipper. What a pair! The DIY patch jobs give these jeans so much character. We are in love.
Levi's deadstock 2 pocket trucker jacket. Union made in Canada. A timeless classic just waiting to belong to someone.
1970s Wrangler "No Fault" jeans with Scovill zipper. Amazing wash, boot-cut, and rise. These jeans are sexy!
1960s Wrangler 4 pocket denim jacket. A lovely little number. Love how their top-stitching makes a "W" for Wrangler.
